Does anyone have one of these? My friend asked me about them and I told him I don't know anything about them. Are they good bad or just plain ugly ?

I bought one used in 2012 (prolly 3 years old at the time) and I'm hear to tell you they do everything they are advertised to do. I love it!

I am in a 3 way partnership on one. I wanted one, but couldn't justify buying one. Me, my dad, and brother own one collectively. It is a game changer. I use it, more than I thought I would. If this guy likes to keep a neat place, he might as well go ahead and buy one. Ours goes through belts pretty fast. I found a bright blue belt at a local parts store, that holds up on it better than anything else. I don't know the name brand of it. I like it much better since finding that belt. It will hold up most of a season. Just a regular v belt will be toast in an hour or less on this one.

Oh ok.. He just wants it to cut 4 wheeler trails to where he hunts and cut down his food plot from time to time. I just told him what yall said he said he will be getting it tomorrow and I plan on going with him for its first voyage and will hopefully have some pics to share with you all.

He bought the dr and cut his food plot out and I wasn't impressed maybe cause he cut it up high but it didn't cut it just kinda pushed it down and clipped the top if you drug your feet it would catch your feet and make you almost fall. You can see what he cut and compare the surroundings. I dont know if he was going too fast or not he was pleased with it. I told him wait till he goes to disc it with his pull behind disc on his 4 wheeler lol I was baling hay when he did it or id got a video.

If he would spray a heavy dose of roundup on the food plot 6 to 8 weeks ahead of planting time he would eliminate mowing and it would disc up a LOT easier.

Sorry to hear that sky. I used mine on some briars this weekend. It did good. Mine is really old, maybe one of the first ones they made. Maybe they are not as heavy as they once were.

I don't know he was happy so I was happy for him lol I think he had it up too high if it were lower I think it would have clipped it and if he rode slower probably. I will say this that thing cut some saplings up that were gum and it made light work of it from what I saw.
