Doubles on Flies

It is raining here in Missouri, at the Fire Sweep Simmental Ranch. Waiting for it to break, I decided to do a little hunting. First, my weapon:

That is a Winchester Model 37 Flymaster. Made between 1950 and 1955. Has great balance and swings smooth on the follow through. Took me a while to get in practice but I am getting doubles on a regular basis.

I think the reason they have so many flies is because of the puppies. Penny had eight puppies about 2 days before I got here.

If you want one you better hurry. No kidding, Kris has got most of them sold.
 
Before there was air conditioning, everybody would sit around the house in the evening with a fly flap like that in their hand.
