Yikes. My Jack Russell who is 14 years old has all of her teeth. But she eats rare cooked beef liver-still raw on the inside, and chicken that has been pressure cooked so she can eat the bones as well. If you cook it long enough in that steam pressure, it makes the bones like wet chalk. They get the calcium they need and the cartlidge on the ends of the bones. Then the bone broth turns to jelly and feed that to them as well. Then she gets leather pork chews and milk bones. I hope that her diet is what allowed her to keep her teeth. She also attacks the larger male dogs and hangs on and they cry. I am sure that exercise has helped. :) That little dog you speak, I hope they continue to feed her soft food so she can gum her food. Love those dogs. They are so much company to us all and give so much love back in return when other humans stay jacked up all the time.:LOL: I sit on the couch and Rooster lays down with his head in my lap and looks up at me like I am the only person in the world. :love:
