It makes plenty of sense. It's so you'll buy 2 packs of buns to accommodate the hot dogs and throw the other six buns in the composter.

Also kinda like canning lids as they come 12 to a pack. It takes 14 to make two runs in a regular canner so you have to buy another box.

Why buy buns....I use a slice of bread. Generally always have a loaf of bread.
