I support the concept of every consumer knowing where their beef comes from.
I do not support the writing of the rules which force monetary loss by the US producer for the proof that the animal is US produced. I do not support the writing of the rules that say restaurants and many other establishments do not have to label the beef. I do not support exceptions that allow foreign beef to be mixed with US beef without it being labeled as such. I support every ounce of beef entering the US being labeled as imported until it is consumed. I know international law says to lable imports we also have to trace and label our own native produced beef. That could not have been made law without US support somewhere along the way. I strongly disagree with that law.
