Hauled a load of steers in. One group weighed 662 and we got $1.40 a pound... Not bad but could have done better. Kind of the going price right now..

1.40 seems to be the going price as well here this week. Shipping a few off next Thursday - we'll see what it looks like then but I expect close to the same.

The report here had 650 pound steers at $1.43 so that sounds like the market. The good news in this report said kill cows were up a nickle. Hope that is the start of a trend.
