No, seriously, I would just freak smooth out if there were an earthquake here. Never experienced that. Would rather have spring storms.

I been monitoring several "Feeds" here at CNN (Crowder News Network) and it seem that a couple politicians, one from Arkansas, the other from nearby Illinois, had some kind of a shindig sleepover party last night.Both obtained major bowel obstructions and were administered an experimental emergency roto-rooter procedure, and when all broke loose it was recorded as half F-6 and a 5.4 on the rectum scale.

I'll provide more details as they come in. Now back to our regularly scheduled program.

Felt it here really good. House was shaking real bad. We are between Owensboro and Bowling Green. Showinjg damage on the news in Loiusville.

They felt it pretty good in N Indiana. Just talked to my daughter in Lafayette. It woke her up.
I'm hearing that the center was 45 miles NW of Evansville, IN.
Drought, floods, tornados, and now we get to have earthquakes. I love the Midwest.

Here's what folks are saying about the earthquake.

From the School Board:
The earthquake was a very minor disturbance, so we should go to year round schools.

From the Congress:
The earthquake caught us off guard. In order to be prepared for the next one we need to raise taxes.

From Al Gore:
The earthquake clearly shows that greenhouse gases are causing a higher than normal air pressure that results in global warming and a shifting of the earths crust. Therefore we should all stop driving our gas powered vehicles. (The last statement does not apply to me or my Hollywood buddies).

From Various Other Nuts:
The earthquake was predicted by Nostradamus.

From the Gun Control Crowd:
The earthquake could have been much worse, so we need to ban private ownership of guns.

From Chicken Little:
The sky is falling! The sky is falling!

Did anyone feel the 4.5 aftershock? I was on the lawn mower, I think. I heard about it on the radio.

Yes, My husband's from Florida and was bummed he didn't get to feel the first one. Then when the after shock came I was hollering "do you feel that? do you feel that?" kind of like... "can you hear me now?... can you hear me now?" The second one did'nt last very long but I heard the first one did. My daughter came home from school saying there's supposed to be another one at 9:00 tonight... probably just kids rumors.... has anyone else heard this? I didn't know if there was any way they could monitor the movement and predict them.?????

Yeah it didn't make it to me althoguh i heard that it made it to Des Miones. Felt a really small one a few years back on a sunday afternoon that came out of Nebraska somewhere.

it didnt make it here as far as i know. i live in far eastern nebraska too.

i think earthquakes in nebraska are pretty rare, right??? gosh i hope so.
