This is planned destruction.
Monsanto knew they wouldn't be able to control it they instead let them have at it.
Dicamba will get heavy restrictions, or banned, and Monsanto will re-release as "ready to extend2", which will be 2-4d beans. But the trick is that the dicamba beans are already 2-4d resisted. The beans were bred originally to be 2-4d first, then they add dicamba later.
