We have a handful of young cows that we plan to breed to our Stinger bull that I've posted pictures of. However most of them calved from early January to mid-april. We plan on putting him out to pasture with them the second week of June, just after our World Show, which if he breeds them right away will give them late March calves. Although we would like for them to stay on a 12 month calving interval, many of the cows won't, this won't be a big problem with our operation anyways. What are everyones opinions on delayed rebreeding? Any known negatives related to it? I'm not really worried about the time table, but I am interested in any negative aspects of the rebreeding time.
Thanks,
Ryan
