Well worth remembering and teaching the young about.
This is where that Great Generation really came through. Time will come when men and women of that stature will be needed again. Will there be enough of them?

They were the ones with the big brass ones. The guys an gals in the services now still have what it takes, not real sure about the rest of the population though.

Sadly as the nation grows bigger and older I think there are less and less of the "population" that have the same resolve of that generation of WWII. Wish and hope I'm wrong but don't think I am. It's just the reality of time, I do think there are still tens of million who have that resolve but I also think there are an equal or greater number that don't.

Most of the country still has conserveative values IMO. The problem is the big city entitlement mentality, along with the socialist propaganda brodcast by most of the media. My family has served in every war since the Revolutionary to this one. I really don't think that is unusual as there many famlies that have paid the price for our freedoms.
Amen, the WWII generation is one of the greatest ever. Not many of them left anymore. My grandfather is my hero. Spent 13 months on the front lines of battle in WWII. And let's not forget the great women of the era, they did more then than most men today would have the resolve to do. My grandmother is 84 and still going like she was 50, I cherish every moment with her. She knows more about cows too han I likely ever will. :nod:
