Dead calf :-(

I've had my pairs out to grass for less that a week and I noticed one cow without out a calf after two trips down there looking yesterday the buzzards show me where to look this is what I found. She was born 4-4-16. No clue what happened to her unless she got sickly and I just never was able to find her. There is a fair amount of timber there. :cry2: B&G

She was close to the pond in a ditch under a cedar tree laying just like in pic. I dragged her out to investigate. That's about all I can tell about it. B&G

I got a call yesterday that we had a calve turn up dead in a similar fashion.

Very disheartening.

Hate that for you. We've had good luck for a few years with ours...knock on wood.
