Well, she goes into hosp Friday.(Lymphoma)..They've moved to Houston (temp) apperently giveing her some good stuff already,as she was pretty giggley Mon..All should go well, hope this bit of bonemarrow grows well..Friends nephue had same prosedur 25 years ago,and he's still fine..

Well, the walker is for me,I just can't stand for long .I'm 63,had a horse accident loooong ago that cluminated in knees that burn and lock up if stood on for long..Also was a checker for years Anyhow, with this thing,I'll walk til I can't ,sit til I can....It's 600lb test (NO,I don't weight that much) ,wanted sturdy...

Daughter #2 was misdiagnosed for approx 10 years..has "Follicular Lymphoma.".(nothing to do with hair,Follic was the name of the guy found it) She was diagnosed 2 years ago,is in M.D.Anderson..had a hard time getting a long enough remission to harvest healthy bone marrow, but did, which was cloned for transplant..So--we are at the tunnel end--just hope that light isn't a train..[/u]

wow, modern medical technology!

I hope you and your daughter keep on truckin'. People like you are hard to come by.

They certainly are, Peg. Good thoughts and prayers are coming your way...and coming your daughter's way.

 Many, many thanks to all....Please remember all the Dr.s and Nurses in your prayers, they are rare, wonderful people..will keep updates going...

Prayers not only to your daughter for the long, arduous journey she is about to partake, but also to you....you are, indeed, a blessing to her!! Prayers also, as you reminded all of us, to the doctors, laboratory personnel and nurses who will be guiding her in her journey to health!!!

God Bless you all Peg, everyone at the hospital that keep your daughter in health and good humour, and may she come through this and conquer her illness. and you also that you may be able stand for quite a few more years before needing the sit down scooters. Chris.

Thanks so much for the kind words and good thoughts  As to the walker-got in ,was damaged, bent bolt goes thro the handle and shaft, which I'd just replace, but whatever bent the bolt caused a flange of metal inside the shaft,so the handle won't fit in!! Can't find where/how to complain,so after an hour or 2,am over here cooling off before trying again...we all know how good I am computering
