There were a lot better drivers out there, female and male, that could of used her sponsorship, and won more races. Just ain't as pretty, and didn't fit the mold.

It's my understanding that you have to bring your own sponsorship anymore. There was a guy from Boise that drove for Petty for one season. His grandfather was some big shot at Albertson's grocery stores and his parents owned a very, very high end resort in McCall, ID. They sponsored his car. He didn't really produce well, but I wonder if the money dried up and he was gone b/c of that. It's a lot different than it was 25 years ago, that's for sure.

All I will say is That he goes a heII of a lot faster than nascar and without any brakes or tires .

I hang out with a couple of Daisy's, and outrun the Sheriff at least twice a week.

7 second 1/4 miles, 5.40's to 1000 feet. Been 178 in the boat at a 1/4 mile. I've raced a little bit of everything from late models to sprint cars, drag cars, etc, but I've been at this for almost 25 years, nothing like going real fast on water. 3 world championships, 15 or 16 high points championships, and I've lost count of how many races I've won. It's been real good to me and I've made a lot of friends along the way. Speed is over rated, but the friendships and memories are forever.

Oh yea, you couldn't drive it by hand control, it's set up just like a drag car.

Most people don't even notice that, on launch it is trying to drag the tail around because the prop torque is so much. If you don't put a lot of initial rudder in it on the launch it will swap ends with ya, never a good thing. lol
2300 hp in a boat that completely bare only weighs 414 lbs is a pretty good hp to weight ratio.

I’d say that’s a good ratio. I upgraded my houseboat from a 90 to a 150 and nearly got whiplash. 8.5 knots at 4,500 RPM. Lol
Where all do you race? I wouldn’t mind seeing that live and in person.
