just a couple weeks ago i was wishing the rain would stop,,, well it did....

"They" say that an overabundance of dandelions are a sign of a dry summer. The last time we were over ridden with them was one of the wettest summers we have had. There is not a dandelion to be seen around here, too dry for them. We are supposed to get into the 20's c (70's) by next week. I sure hope we get some rain soon ...

After a long illness, my Aunt Lucille died without divulging her mushrooming ground to her siblings ~ they had asked her to take them and show them but she refused. Everytime her name is brought up (though she is very much loved), someone will grouch "Dam Sissy died without telling....." and they will all pound their fist and spit on the ground. That stuff is sacred in this family. Her daughter knows where it is though, so that is as it should be. :nod: If I find a place that grows wild asparagus (and I know its out there) I will not tell that either.
