Anyone who really enjoys football can't like what the public saw today.
Throw a flag on clearly pass interference then wave it off.
Refs are human and can make mistakes that is part of the game.
That call looked like a pay off.

Yep, they paid him off, rehearsed and the whole thing--choreographed out in advance just for that play, with everyone knowing their place and position. Everyone was in on it.

How is it ruled when a reciever stops his route and the DB inadvertently runs into the reciver because the ball was under thrown and the reciever is going back to the ball ?

I'm not even a Dallas fan but come on

I loved to play football in the day and watch today.
Don't care who wins or looses I don't own any team or play for one anymore.
I just like a good game of football.
Calls like that refs today in the game should be reviewed in playoff games.

I don't need tissue.
Anyone that saw that call and reversal either never played football or understands the rule.
I would feel the same if it was the other way around and I don't like Dallas.
Gambling and payoffs don't happen in pro sports think that was a Pete Rose quote.

I did see it, several times just like everyone else did--the defender (Hitchens) had his left hand on the receiver when the ball hit the defender in the back of the left lower shoulder.
I don't think it was catchable--the intended receiver had moved too far back.

What Hitchens should have done, was stomp on the receiver's leg while he was on the ground. :D

He was way past five yards learn the rules yourself.
The receiver was going for the pass and the DB never looked back.
Had the DB been looking at the ball he has a right to go for it.

Actions that constitute defensive pass interference include but are not limited to:

(a) Contact by a defender who is not playing the ball and such contact restricts the receiver’s opportunity to make the catch.

(b) Playing through the back of a receiver in an attempt to make a play on the ball.

(c) Grabbing a receiver’s arm(s) in such a manner that restricts his opportunity to catch a pass.

(d) Extending an arm across the body of a receiver thus restricting his ability to catch a pass, regardless of whether the defender is playing the ball.

(e) Cutting off the path of a receiver by making contact with him without playing the ball.

(f) Hooking a receiver in an attempt to get to the ball in such a manner that it causes the receiver’s body to turn prior to the ball arriving.

The reciever stoped his route in order to go back for the ball causing the DB to run into him
The DB raised his hands in show that he wasn't interfering with the reciever
It's no different than a DB stopping or impeding the route of a reviver

Switch the players and the DB had of stopped and reciever ran into the DB it would have been interference on the DB
The reciever has no more right to the ball than the DB

Aw, things like this happen all the time--judgement call CB. You're just sore. I figured the Lions would win, and picked them to win--we know tho, how you felt about the game before it ever started.

I love to watch them loose and nothing is finer when the camera swings over to look on JJ's face.
Afraid them redbirds are going to eat the cat this time.
Just like the Lions are going to eat the cowboys.
Romo will do what he does best choke.
I would really like to see someone new like Lions make it.

way had it happened to Dallas.
The DB wasn't playing the ball so he can not impede the receiver after five yards.
It is replaying over and over on ESPN go re watch.

Former NFL head of officiating Mike Pereira, working the game for FOX, said he had never seen anything like it.

“It is clearly pass interference,” Pereira said. “I strongly believe that was not a good pickup of a flag.”

Judgement call to pick up the flag with no explanation when 1st reaction judgement was to throw the flag?
The league office is miked direct to the crew chief's ear.

NFL a multi-billion dollar non-profit corporation [look it up] of course is unbiased as to next weeks TV match ups
