I got some custom brake lines made that are great they are suposed to be easy bend lines and they flex well I like them. Has anyone used the easy bend brake lines?
Tater here is a pic of a couple we installed on a dumptruck... I took a regular brake line and bent it the same way I was bending the easy bend units the regular lines cracked the easy flex lines did not. I will never use a regular line again.
I made up 2 lines the other day. They do bend easily by hand, almost too easy. Have to be careful not to kink it. I bought a 12" line, and a 3' line and a coupler with ferrules. Worked good. Cut the length off of the 3' piece to where i needed it, then cut one end off of the 12" piece, then coupled them together. Easy fix, no leaks.
Yea, If you kink it its a wrap no matter what kind of metal line it is. Nice I have to have a coupler made or either a 6 inch piece with a male end and female end my flex hose on the rear axle from pushing snow has got salt and galled on the other brake line and I will have to replace all lines if I mess one piece up so I figure I will put a small secion in the middle.
Here's a free tip. When bending metal brake lines, take an oil rag and rub the line where you want to bend it about 10-15 times it will get warm. Then bend it where you want to. Sky, does NAPA carry them?? I will try them next time.

Thanks for the tip high.. Some do here but not all its funny cause not all napas here make hydraulic lines only some do. I think any place that makes up hydro and brake lines should cary it.. It has a different color to those if you can tell like a bronzish color.
This is where I get most of my stuff made if napa doesn't have it or can't make it. If you have a business like this in your area they will have that for sure.
