Critize her! This is a heifer calf we kept for replacement. We have hard time to choose which heifers to keep for replacements. She is out of a first time heifer and is biggest heifer in group. What you think of her?

I'm not sure what can seen or not from the pic. I guess I would need to judge her against her contemporaries and take her dam into consideration.

I like to really scrutinize heifers at yearling stage, but I keep everything til 24 months anyhow so I have that opportunity.

looks like her coat will help her out this winter. Looks like that beltie has the perfect "show" belt.
 
All I see is black fuzzy hair. Hard to make out her form very well. I sure do like those Belties though! :)

The winter is brutal on them. Been in 10-20's constantly, I think we will have another long brutal winter again this year.

The beltie is a steer we kept for freezer beef. He's named Socks for obvious reasons. I have hard time to get better pic of her in question.
 
As branguscowgirl said, it's hard to see a lot except long hair, but I don't see anything to criticize.

By the way, what's all that white stuff on the ground, and will cows eat it? :P
 
Taurus she looks fine to me. I suggest you stop worrying about it and develop her the right way. In time you will "know" if she is what you want and if not last time i looked heifers were selling like gold. The only way I can see for you to lose is if she drops dead.
 
She has a heck of a coat. I don't see nothing wrong with her. How old is she? That beltie looks like he is going to make some good eating.
 
Pretty heifer. Looks good to me. I can tell the weather is rough. It is too cold here in Middle GA. 20 degrees this morning. Very cold for us in November.
 
She looks to be long enough, growth enough, and has enough bone to make a rugged cow.
For a commercial female she will be fine.
If you wanted to raise show cattle, she would need to be cleaner fronted and show more muscling.

I would keep her!
