I am in the market for a Bull. Would you give your thoughts on this guy? 16 months old.

Nice clean bull. You could do worse. You could do better. He could be deeper, he could be more masculine but that is a nice bull. It all depends on price which you have not offfered.

Have seen a lot worse. Could make have a little more depth and muscling but otherwise a decent bull.

+1 on the needing depth & flank

He isnt a bad bull, but with that nose ring I am thinking the seller is partial to him.. more than he might be worth. What are they asking?

Little deeper, little longer, and a little more butt never hurts. He does look like he has a fat head in the picture, which would be a negative. Nice clean sheath, and pretty good foot, and hip.

What would be your plans for him??

Asking price is $2700. Here are his EPDs. I left out the price and EPDs intentionally so I could get unbiased responses. As to the nose ring, my guess is that he was shown. (By the way TT, I may change his name to Molly if I buy him.)

You can find a better Simmental bull for $2700. Better phenotype and better pedigree. If you are serious, I can put you in touch with a Guy who currently has over 20 Simmental bulls at this age which are much better for $2500 to $3500.

If you're looking for one with a blaze that is homo black it might be harder to find. I don't know just saying he's got capital B's down his sheet. I got a solid black the same age but he's heter. black that I haven't yet listed, will toss that out there.

I'm no old timer professional, but I'm not a fan. Looks like a show steer or heifer. I can't zoom in on my work computer, but I'm not seeing any nuts. He's just too feminine for me.
