I have a 9 year old cow, due to freshen in January. She's been favoring her right rear foot for some time, but there is no swelling at all. I inspected the hoof, no stones, rot or cracks. She gets around well, it just takes her longer to get where the rest of the cows are heading. There is an audible "click" when she bends her hoof. I've been treating her with "benign neglect" as I don't think any medicine will help. Any thing else I should do for her?

Thanks-

You can give her banamine too . She probably has a touch of arthritis and being heavy bred all that extra weight is adding to her discomfort .
