cow with cancer eye

what is best thing to do with a cow with cancer eye? will they bring anything at sale barn or even sell? or should she just be shot? she is about 12yr old hereford, should calf next month, she dont seem to really be in no pain and is eating and drinking fine gonna try to get the calf then either sell or shot her when the calf gets alittle size to it if she dosent get worse before then.

If eyeball is still fully intact and round, she can be sold at market. Price will vary based on condition. If the eye socket is just a mass of raw cancerous tissue, she can only be euthanized. Your best bet is calve her out and reassess after the calf is a few months old. Keep her out of sight from a roadway or you might be asking for a visit from HSUS.

Let her calf out get the calf to about four months and haul her to the barn.
If the eye is still intact and round she will bring low canner price here.
Keep a close watch on the eye I have seen some go south pretty quick and others
Never seen any change before selling.
