I have a question about milk replacers. Can goat milk replacer be used with a calf? If so how much? Same as calf? It does not smell as sweet but seems to be finer in texture.

I am not familiar with goat-milk-replacer. If possible, compare the ingredients listed on the label, along with the protein and fat percentages.

Ideally the calf should be fed a cow-milk-replacer. 20% protein 20% fat. Most importantly made from real milk products, not soy. The better replacer costs more, but is better for them, and yields better results.

My replacer of choice is "Cow's Match" made by Land-O-Lakes.

I don't know about the replacer, but I have fed alot of calves straight goats milk and they did great.
