Cow aborted, can't figure out why?

Had a cow abort calf, it was green. Cow wasn't and doesn't appear sick knowand doesn't even know she has calved. Have no apparent reason for the abort. Cows in same yard have calved healthly calves. Any ideas what could be the cause?

Well, since Canada is the second largest nation in the world, and has MANY different ecosystems, where are you? I'd have a different differential list for say BC vs Ontario...and without testing of the fetus, blood from the dam and a caruncle, I'd be once again spitting in the wind to give you a diagnosis.

How about Lepto? Usually they abort in 7th month, try vaccinating with Cattlemaster.
