I'm waiting for a phone call from either sister or even my mother.
Found out that my "country" son gave his "city" cousin an education in where food comes from.
Hoo boy.

He told his cousin that hamburger comes from dead cows and bacon comes from dead pigs. His words.
He just didn't need to be so graphic about it.
Kids. :?

Gotta find out sometime. Where on earth else would he think they come from? I know, the store. They are little boys, aren't they? It's cute in a way. I certainly would not chastise him for it. That is just his world. I would have said the same thing. Only, when I was little, all my little friends knew because we all grew up in the same little rural community and there was a locker plant right in the middle of town!

Well, it is far better than eating hamburger from a live cow or bacon from a live pig. PETA wouldn't be too happy. :D

Lammie I am not mad at my son about telling his cousin, but I am waiting for the butt chewing because he did tell him.
For some reason my sisters hide the fact of where their food comes from from their kids.
Son is not in trouble, he just said that his cousin thought all food comes from the store and he just set him straight. :lol2:

grannysoo my son said he forgot to tell him that. :lol2:

I know we can all laugh about it, but one butt chewing a week is enough for me.

I knew a Manager once who ran around screaming when he was a new hire. He screamed the next day - and the next- and the next. No one took him serious in less than a week. He threatened to fire one of the best employees and we all knew that was happening. No matter what he tried, he couldn't shake anyone up and he didn't know any other way to manage. He was sent packing shortlythereafter.

Hence, I think it wise to only chew when chewing is warranted.

Well, you don't eat live ones, do you :D Sounds like he might have created a couple more vegans.

So your sisters are lying to their children, your son told the truth, and you expect to get your butt chewed over that? Don't seem right to me.

Van they chew my butt all the time. They can't figure out why I stay away.

JT we were talking about that this morning. My son would have LOVED to have told him about eggs. :lol2: Too bad he didn't think about it at the time.
