Well, the shows finally over. My shorthorn heifer aborted her 8 month old calf, so she didn't get to come. I took my charolais steer and he was 2nd in the light weight division. Although the whole barn said I should have won the division. The shorty didn't do so hot. All in all it was a good show except for the massive storm that came through during the middle of the steer show. I walked away with Reserve Grand Showmanship in the steers. Got beat by my best friend so I don't care. I should have some pictures tomorrow.
 
I'm sorry about your heifer, my friends did that while he was in Houston for the steer show.

I'm so sorry about your heifer. But congrats on Showmanship. The weather was REALLY bad this morning when I was in Anahuac at a show. The rain and wind was blowing though the barn so hard we had to find stuff to get behind to get out of it. Plus the show suxed so it wasn't such a great morning.
