My bull was on whole cotton seed and corn all winter. Preg tested my cows last week and all of the are bred. Why do you ask why it will make him sterile?

Its whole cottonseed that can cause the problem. Not CSM.

I believe it was used in testing several years back , as an ingredient for a "male" birth control pill.sstterry said:

Wcs is more likely to cause a problem than meal. And even then it's temporary, it's not common , and it takes a large amount over a period of time and usually has to be upland cotton. Which is a small percentage of the us cotton crop. We feed sometimes as much as 5-7 pounds of wcs a day during rough times.
My uncle sells reg. Angus bulls and grows them on a cottonseed ration right up to the bse.
Meal is 40 percent protein and usually mixed with other ingredients in small amounts.
