Cost of mechanic

What does mechanic shops charge in your area. Central Tx. most charge $75 to $105 an hour plus mark up on parts.

Sounds about right.

Sounds close to the same, most around here are around $70. I now found a guy that will come to the farm for $40, he is a certified diesel mechanic, that is about right considering he does not have all the ability that a dealership shop has.

$50 an hour and I pay for the parts at what they cost him.
