Corned beef failure

I made another batch of corned beef. But I didn't have any more brisket and made it from a London broil cut instead. Thinking the muscle structure was the same.
I just went to slice it up and it shredded up like pulled pork.
Guess I'll make sammiches out of it. Maybe with a cabbage and vinegar based thickened up dressing on sourdough bread.
Can't win em all I guess
 
Just found out I reinvented the rueben sandwich. :bang:
I love Reubens though. :D
 
Could be. Brought it to a boil then simmered for 3 hrs.
Kenny, I try not to let the handicapped people in life get new too aggravated.
