While I appreciate the thoughtfulness of our neighbors to the North, you can take your Jetstream back to the frozen tundra, now. You don't need to share it any longer. I left Michigan to get away from these temperatures. We've been in a deep freeze since Tuesday, -10 to -15 lows and single digit highs. I have no idea what the windchill is. I figure it doesn't really matter at this point. Maybe it wouldn't feel so extreme if it hadn't been around 60 degrees on Monday. Everything in sight is frozen solid, including my behind. I even think I got frostbite on my toes when I got up to make coffee this morning. :help:

Yep, thing is at this point it doesn't even matter anymore.

only 34 here in Cleveland, E Texas, 45 miles North of Houston--with light snow falling--flurries I think they call it. First time since 2009. It won't stick, but still...unusual.

When leaving Michigan do you think maybe you stopped too soon? :D

They say we'll get above freezing today. Started out at 24 and have crawled up to 27 at the moment. We have a light ice fog going on but it seems to be burning off. Still people in the country without power and you can't get in or out for help.

  I took the scenic route through Phoenix for a decade or so. Thought I had found a happy medium between freezing and scorching my butt.
It was warmer this morning. All the way up to 5 degrees...yippeee... 8)

Been cold and have had snow that didn't stick. Last night about 1 1/2 inches fell and this is here to stay. More on its way. We are lucky to have it put off this long. Not bad out there this morning. No wind.

I am close enough to the ocean that I don't get those real cold temps others get. Our low was 9 degrees on Sunday morning. The daughter in Roundup, Mt posted a -41. That be cold. We have some weather pushing in from the ocean starting today. Some warming with a little light snow turning to rain. A good rain storm supposed to be here on Thursday followed by another one on Saturday. It will be rain here but as it moves to the east to those areas that haven't warmed as much I imagine it will be a snow storm. So brace yourselves in those points east. A good snow coming by the end of the week.
