Man alive, I can't see the purpose of the 'double-spur'.

Might just be a way of looking macho (as in "my horse is sooooo rank, I gotta wear these bad boys...").

Kind of like those young guys with the loud exhaust pipes and jacked up pickup trucks. Don't really like the pistolero spur that much.

Anyway, those oak leaf ones beautiful. I wonder how many hours going into producing a pair, as there's sure a lot of craftsmanship in those flank biters.

I noticed those cowboys had their feet too far in the stirrup.

just in the oxbow stirrup i hate those things.those are some great pictures there ruby .

Yep, I prefer a roper or a narrow bell bottom stirrup myself. Come on Ruby you got more pic's?
