This could include any signage...billboards, street signs, road warning signs, restaurant signs etc.

You have time to submit your entry up until 24 Sept, the voting poll will be held from 25 - 30 Sept. All entries to be submitted via personal message to myself, alisonb. The winner will be announced on 1 Oct. Pic dimensions should be 640 x 480 pix(or close to that) so please resize before submitting.

This should be a good one ;-)
 
Too bad Bill Engvall isn't a member here. I'm sure he's got a big library of 'signs'..

oh drat, I forgot about this. Took a pic for it too but it wasn't any good. And there's a few signs around the place that are worthy of a photo.
Will try and remember tomorrow - getting another pic is easier than finding the ones I took before.

I had a good one that I took a few months ago in a convenience store in Plantersville, TX, but my phone died Friday and I lost a bunch of pictures. It was taped to the door to the women's restroom and said:

"No men in women restroom!"

Alan - one can take a very ordinary sign and take a perfect photo. It's not all about what the sign necessarily says ;-) . Here are some examples -
