Anyone ever use this bull or one of his sons? I really like this bull and he jumps off the catalog pages at me every time I look. If anyone has used him how happy were you with the results?

I think semen might be hard to get a hold of. I thought he died last year and was somewhat limited on semen availability.But I could be wrong also.
We used a son of him last year out of a Venture Forward cow on our heifers. We'll have to see how the calves turn out, but I don't know if I am all that impressed with this son we have. He wintered pretty hard and looks like junk right now.
I do think Lead On is a pretty decent bull, but he isn't the calving ease bull they thought he was. I have two hiefer calves out of him and the calves were plenty big for my liking, but that could of been because of the cows also.
He definitely won't hurt your herd to use some of him if you can get it.
