I failed at my quest to quit dipping. It's a long story and involves several factors but none of that makes a difference. The fact is I failed. I will be gearing up to make another run at it. I apologize to all of you that supported and rooted me on. My apologies

Don't feel bad I only made it three day's when I quit.

Most successful 'quitters' first had several unsuccessful attempts Iso--it's hard to do--if it was easy, we'd all have already given it up. ALL of mine have been unsuccessful, but I'll keep trying---so will you--if only because it's hard.

You will get it done. But don't beat yourself. An old farmer always said, life is hard but you got to live it. Just live and do what you can. No one holds it aginst a good man.

Well, we don't care what anyone else thinks.. your still a quitter in our books! ;)

Too soon for jokes??

Sorry to hear that. But, I bet you didn't ride a bike first try either.

Just gather up enough courage and start again, I know it's hard, but if you have to start over a hundred times do it.

I don't smoke, drink, or dip, but I can sit down with a knife and fork and make the sparks fly like Jethro Bodine. So my point is that sooner or later we all have something to struggle with. I go along fine making some progress, losing some weight, then I start to fall back in to the old habits. Lip and teeth and gums are in good shape, but I'm overweight and have diabetes, and I love to eat, not a good combination. So like you I have to think about my family and ask myself, do I want them to have to suffer because I can't control my fork. So like you I have to start over again and again.

You haven't failed, but you do need to learn to start again and quickly.

Just keep trying.
Things like that are a struggle.

No shame in a stumble, only in giving up on the challenge.

Personally I'm trying to get my heiney in shape (could easily loose about another 60lbs), I'm having a couple rough weeks currently, but I'm keeping on at keeping on!

We can do it!

I smoked for over 50 yrs,,,,, tried the patch,,, the pill... the candy.. tried it all, sometimes all at once to no avail.... finally saw a hypnotist bingo have not had a smoke in over 8 yrs... when I quit is was up to almost 3 packs a day at todays prices close to $20.00 a day..... I know how hard it is to quit, still find myself reaching for one at times. Hang in there you can do it. The naysayers and such that do not give you support should be ashamed of them selves,,, but then they are perfect so they can point fingers

You have not failed until you give up.

My guess is you succeed in things you attempt.

Cram in a can till you gag. Maybe that'll learn you.
