I have a QWERTY keyboard and the £ is above the 3 and the $ is above the 4, don't need to use any other keys but the shift to get them both.

exchange rate today is £1 = $1.9 very high exchange rate makes everything almost half price to us.

I thought the pound was out and th euro was in.

not in England we have kept our identity and we will not go over to Euro, those that have wished they hadn't and there is talk of reverting back, as there economy has droped considerably since the change. The richer countries such as Germany and France are carrying the poorer countries such a Italy and Greese, and they don't like it. England is to a certain amount as we are in the EU. but because of our currency being different we don't share the same dividends.

Whew, now we cleared that up, can anybody tell me what the exchange is for a pound into dollars? HMMMMM

My calves brought about 1.15 a pound. Did that answer you question? 550 lbs.= $632.50.

that is absolutely right, but we mostly use Kilo's now. I still like stones as it sounds less, when weighing.

On this day five years ago, the exchange rate was $1:£0.70.
Right now, as we speak, the exchange rate is $1:£0.524.

In other words, $100US was worth £70 five years ago, but only £52 today.

That's a 25% reduction in the value of the USD -- IN FIVE YEARS TIME... Yet, somehow, the Fed tells us that inflation has only been running about 2.5% YOY in the US for years now...

I know that some of you out there think I'm crazy when I start talking economics, but you gotta admit -- no matter who you are or what you believe -- that a 25% loss against the world's most previous reserve currency (before the US dollar) is an indication that the US dollar is losing it's value pretty doggone rapidly..

(edit: ya knew I'd sneak economics in here somehow, right? :lol: )
