The lock on that thread is an obvious attempt to silence my General Awareness of the Predatory Behavior of the North East Texas Black Bear campaign. It has only solidified my resolve to make GAPBNETBB a priority.

I can only assume that a ranking member of the beef check off organization saw my efforts as a threat to their financial well-being. It would then only make sense that they are using heavy handed tactics to influence CT ownership and moderators. Most likely via CIA shadow operatives. This won't be easy, but most things worth doing aren't. So I've prepared myself for such.

I just can't believe we killed the thread where threads go to die. Sadness. The prognosis for that thread turned south very quickly. So long. I am certain it please some to see that thread departed. So be it.

I too am saddened. It is hoped that civilian casualties are held to a minimum, but you know that they will occur. I have the upmost respect and salute the Thread Police thread and it's ultimate sacrifice. It is my hope that this sacrifice is not in vain. If you join the GAPBNETBB campaign, you too can make sure this does not occur.

CF, I'm intrigued. What's it going to cost me? I am actively searching for a purpose to fill the vacuum created by the loss of "Thread Police" thread.

You guys better join the GAPBNETBB, it's a lagit movement!
CF told me so when I payed him $995.95 for my yearly membership to the GAPBNETBB society.

PAWS UP!!! DON'T SHOOT!!!

Bball, as Sim and I discussed, it isn't the cost of joining that you should be concerned with. The real concern is what it will cost if you don't join.

Do you realize the environmental cost of a tiny minnow in California not getting the attention it needed for years? Billions and billions of dollars in agricultural losses were necessary to offset this small atrocity by flushing millions of gallons of precious desert water down the rivers. This artificial emptying of Californias long held aquifers have finally brought some relief to these tiny little fish.

With those kind of costs for such a tiny fish, what do you think it will cost for an animal as large and as important as a North East Texas Black Bear to go unnoticed, which is the first step towards extinction? The answer is, we can't afford it. Investing in the future now is the only way. We all need to pay our fair share.

Sounds legit. Where do I send the money and most importantly, do I get a decal for my truck window?

It was that "'I'm a Cubs fan" thing--as soon as I saw that I thought,
"this is the beginning of the end and it won't end well"
Some things are better just left un-said.

That thread is dead, like the Cubs chances of winning the World Series

So hurtful King! Just hurtful (and if history is a teacher, probably true) :frowns: but as a lifelong Cubs fan, you learn at a tender age to pace your hope for the season.

I want to openly apologize to all of CT for singlehandedly killing the thread with my public profession of being a Cub fan. Such a fool. Geez, I hope I didn't just get this one killed too :hide:
