Nice looking cows! Pretty good freeze brands too! (y)

Nice ! Wish I was in the market for females . Got to cull some of my old girls this fall after they raise this year's calf . 3-4 of the girls I got from you .

The three heifers are all safe AI to Morgan's Direction the F and G cow are safe to G65 a SAV Abundance son out of SAV Blackcap May 0524 donor. The older cow Y27 is safe to 1701 he is a Regard son out of our Abigale 913 donor. I wish I could keep them all but some have to go to pay for my addiction lol.

I didnt realize you had any commercials left.. Good luck selling them, the new owners will be very happy they chose those..
Thanks Scott the numbers are getting smaller on the commercial side we are trying to cut back some so letting commercials go makes sense. We have a big group of registered heifers we are going to let go as well this year, I had a terrible time selecting the heifers to sell and the ones to keep.

" I had a terrible time selecting the heifers to sell and the ones to keep." Some people may take that as bragging - but, I don't. A GREAT breeding program "should" give you uniform calves of many different pedigrees. If you have a "goal" in mind of what/where you are going with your breeding program, you SHOULD have this problem. Kutos to you. I love your herd. Nice to see true breeders of cattle.

i honestly didn't mean it as bragging. I think I get so emotionally attached to these animals that picking who goes and who stays is just brutal. i have a feeling you understand that because you seem to be a lot like me as far as your program.

I don't put very many in a sale. I have a sale I am involved with every year in May. Really tough, because I have to put really great ones in it - who do you pick?? Everything is FOR SALE on the farm. I just put a much heftier price on the ones I'm attached to or want for a breeder in my herd.
