Does anyone ride a Colorado saddle? How do you like it? I am looking at a sand hills roper model

It's not mine (belongs to Dad), and it's not a roping saddle, but I grew up riding a Colorado Saddle. I've ridden a lot of other saddles, and I prefer Dad's saddle to this day.

Colorado Saddlery made some good saddles...I rode an old semi association that was made sometime in the 50's and liked it....I haven't had much experience with the new ones- but they look OK.....

Dad's saddle was purchased back in 1960 - it's 2 years younger than I am. I don't know about the new ones, but the old ones are definitely keepers!

Bought two of their saddles about 8 years ago. One mine, one my wifes. both still going strong and we both like them. Do wish they were just a bit lighter.

thanks for your opinions...I rode in it for just a few minutes and liked it, so I bought it. Hopefully it will be okay.
