I prefer "Cowboy Coffee" as we call it in our family. Any respectable ground Coffee prepared in an old fashioned Stainless Steel Stove Top Percalater. Um Um Good!

Community is the only type of coffee that a self respecting cajun will drink. I can still remember going to my grandfather's house and the smell of coffee hitting me as a kid. Nice, real nice.

I learned something new today. I was thinkin' that "Community Coffee" was somethin' they served at a homeless shelter. Cypress, mail me a few pounds...I never had seen it in these parts.

As the Cheif's top advisor and close confidant, I'll say that the job as limo driver to the newest President is your's. Of course you will have to submit a copy of your license and proof of insurance.

The cajuns may have their dark roasted coffee. But until you put one of those thimble size cups of Cuban coffee to your lips you don't know the meaning of caffeine. Expresso may come close, but this stuff is thick, creamy and awfully sweet. Two shots of Cuban coffee will have most normal people bouncing off the walls. Been there, done that :D

try a cup of Turkish coffee it is so thick and full of caffeine and sweet a sip will have you bouncing off of the walls, it looks like tar and dosen't taste much different to it either, (never tasted tar it is one of those smells you taste, if you know what I mean)

Seriously? I missed that report but I don't doubt you.
I live in one of the few places where it is 45 mi or so to a Starbucks. I wouldn't patronize them if they were closer. Good coffee can be had for a lot less money if you make it at home.

Were I in Iraq, I'd enjoy a good pot of coffee. If Starbucks supplied that coffee, I'd be more likely to buy that when I got home. Could this explain the recent fall in their (Starbucks) share price?

Starbucks pres has to be true to his principles. He has no obligation to supply US forces. But it's a stupid business decision, IMO.
