Nitwit neighbor bought some Highlanders years ago. Bit of a trick to bring them in when I gathered for spring marking. Wasn't happy to find them amongst the registered cattle during breeding season. Pretty decent dogs took one look and said no way Jose.

:lol: I helped gather a place for a 94 year old owner from Texas in steep country back in CA. He had about thirty really gentle brahma cows mixed in with everything. I was on a really good poco bueno bred mare that wasn't scared of anything. We got almost to the top of the ridge right at daylight with the sun coming up on the other side when a couple of those cows came walking over the ridge and bellered. One of them shook her head and her ears flapped and three of us including me did the man from snowy river thing and half the dogs went with us and the other half had cattle spread everywhere. :nod:
