i have dairy show heifers born march shoould i shave there toplines along with there bodies or leave them just to add up here we blow and up spray toplines to i really need to know if it will affect her topline next year

Well, the way they clip dairy now is slick sheer them all the way. This girl that went up against me had a nice Holstein heifer that she clipped DOWN not UP and she placed first in showmanship just for how she handled her animal but the judge said dont clip them like that anymore. You want them as sharp and clipped as possible. Clip the topline.
