Needing to buy cattle shears. Don't need the Ferrari model or price. Will probably be doing 5-10 a year on average as we start to sell some here and there at a few production sales. Have one I need to get ready for an upcoming sale. Again, just needing something to get the job done and not break the bank?

Any suggestions and I also wonder if there's any used ones out there for sale.

Thanks

Get good ones. They have a tough job to perform especially in a farm environment where working cattle are not washed.

You'll want something heavy enough to cut through dirty wild hair. A Oster Clipmaster, or Premier 4000c will cut through about anything, and will keep running for the next 40 years.
If you call Sullivan Supply, they have some refeb, used clippers for sale.
