Climbing cucumber

Do all cucumber vines climb if provided a trellis or do you have to have a special vine .?

They all do. There are very few bush types that are more of a patio type novelty but they still have short vines. But you'll have to keep the vines growing on the trellis as they don't know that they are supposed to! You can grow a lot in a small area.

Vines climb of all types...I think.

I buy the bush variety and put a tomato planter over the mound. It will climb it not overtake my garden
