It's been awhile and I wasn't remembering the J-lube as the polymer based. Thanks @simme . I keep a gal jug of lube that is supposed to be for helping in calving situations...haven't used the J-lube in years but remember it from when I did relief breeding many years ago.... will make it a point of not using it..... just in case...

some of the farm supply stores around here has sleeves and lube on the shelves. my AI tech delivers mine when he is passing by at no cost for delivery.
