Chute Problems

SHOW CATTLE! I prefer "broke to follow my 4 wheeler", but still a little shy to the touch... meaning they will let me walk up and stroke them a little, but aren't looking for it from me, and they don't necessarily "consider me their BFF". That way, they have just a little bit of flight zone left in 'em. My custom herd guy does embryo's and "show calves"... mostly only after they've left my place (been weaned), fortunately. But his cows that used to be "show calves" are the biggest pain in the whole herd.

Show cattle are just a bunch of spoiled brats 🤦‍♀️🤣😅
All the cows have been shown a lot and at really big shows, so pretty much nothing bothers them at all…

I had a bull that came out of the show ring; I will never buy one of those again. Like you I like them to know my space and respect it. My calves are getting where I can touch them and they will slowly walk off out of reach.
