Putting hay out this morning and saw a newborn calf in the field. Nice bull calf out of one of my commercial cows. She calved February 15th of this year and again last night. 2 calves in one year. Yep I think she will stay around.

Had one here today, heifer was exposed 277 days ago. Seen here hanging off to herself yesterday, checked her this morning and got just close enough to see if everything looked ago and the little thing panicked and ran. Backed off real quick hoping it will come back, ran under a fence about 100 feet away from momma. Something about this line of cows their calves are spooking, a sister to this heifer calf did the same thing this year.
