Not to hijack the thread, but I gotta share this.
I was on a trip with a group of farmers, and just to do the story justice, you have to imagine that I'm at least 25 years younger than anybody else around me, so even though I'm trying to mind my own business the older people have naturally started to lose a little hearing and are talking pretty loud to compensate for that. Plus, we're on a bus to the airport, so quarters are close. Behind me one guy starts talking about this big chitterling festival fundraiser and invites guy B to join them for the event.
Guy B politely declines, saying he's not interested in chitterlings.
Guy A insists they're delicious when cleaned properly.
Guy B replies that he must never have come across any that were cleaned properly and he was certain he'd never smelled any he thought were clean enough.
A lady behind them, dressed to the nines in her travel attire, chimes in that she's with guy B on this one - "You can't get all the chit out of chitlins."

I snorted through my nose I laughed so hard.
