RWD PRR Chipotle 21U: What do you think of him? Looks great for a March calf IMO. Advertised as having deep eye set (Knersie!) dark pigmented both eyes. For my personal taste, I'd like to see some featherneck on him. No, have no intentions of making him the bull of the year, but he is interesting to me.

Nice Calf. Already looks like a little bull! I wonder what it costs to be a part of the syndicate - and what you get for your investment?

Advertising a 6 month old calf as "the hot one" is just plain ridiculous in my opinion. At that age what his scrotum will look like is just anyone's guess, no one knows whether he will even be fertile or whether his semen will freeze, etc.

I'll rather miss out on a few "hot ones" untill proven hot by their get.

Very attractive, but I'd like to see his front legs in person, especially the right front one.

This is a case where Kudzu overroad Chipotle's horned dam since Chipotle is polled. It appears the entire maternal side is being liquidated for some strange reason especially when the output appears pleasant to the eye.

Hard to say what he really looks like when you are viewing a pic that obviously has been modified.

But I sure would like to see him walk as his right leg sure looks like it is deformed.

I don't know the DaVee Family very well, but I have had the opportunity to talk with Aaron Katzenberger (plum river ranch who is part owner of the bullcalf) and I honestly doubt they'd allow their prefix on a bull with a "deformed leg". He is a very attractive calf, and I'd guess he'll probably make someone a great herd sire. He's probably not going to win the NWSS or north american or anything, but he'll probably throw some good calves. Plus he has a nice looking pedigree. The "hot one" slogan is just off of his name, it's marketing and I like it, clever idea. I doubt I'll be at the sale, because I'm planning to go to some other ones that weekend, but it looks like its an above average offering.
