Losartan recall: Blood pressure drug recall expands

This latest recall is related to the valsartan recall that has been expanded multiple times since July. The FDA put the Chinese company Zhejiang Huahai Pharmaceutical on an import alert after it learned the company made the tainted ingredient that is at the heart of most of these recalls. The impurity is a chemical that is used in gasoline as a stabilizer and as a lubricant additive.

I have been on Losartan, last year was the most recent times.
I may go back on it if the Lisinopril gives trouble.

It has a stabilizer and a lubricant additive. My mother takes it and a little concerned.

I've been taking losartin for 4 years , no problem.

Just finished 7 months of chemotherapy and got the recall notice about losartin, told my wife this stuff is poison. Hahaha
