Cheap way to have a clean first cutting

Last year I had problems with Vassey grass in a Bermuda grass field. Friend told to me spray 14 ounces of Roundup after a good killing frost. Ended up spraying 16 ounces/acre. Field is weed free and if I only had some water it would yield a pretty first cutting.

Did the same on the prairie. It worked great on getting rid of the fescue.
