How does she look, she calved a month ago today,
she's lost a little over 200lbs and she's losing her fill.
But what do you think?
I'll be taking her and her calf to Houston the 27th-1st,
how do you guys think she'll do?
I'm pretty nervous.

Bearing in mind I don't really know how your shows work when it comes to a heifer in production.... I think she needs a helluva calf next to her to be competitive in her current condition. She definately a little undercooked

Gabby I don't know jack squat about shows, but that's a very nice pair you have there. :tiphat:

Best of luck to you and keep us posted.

Don't get me wrong, it still is a very nice pair and your heifer is very feminine and angular and that always helps, but in her condition she needs an older calf with lots more bloom on him to make her competitive in the showring AT THE MOMENT.

plus, how well she does will depend on her competition.
She is a good mother, she is utilizing her feed to make milk for her calf.
The main thing is that I hope that you have fun at the show.
