My Charolais heifer dropped this bull calf last Saturday,
this is my first calf bred and owned and I was wondering what to
look for in a bull.

For now your going to have to wait till he's about 4 months before you will know a whole bunch about him, but for now it looks like he has pretty good bone structure, and looking pretty healthy :D

What is his sire?

Gabby if you keep this up you might be the next Mesa Pate. Not many your age put as much into their animals as you do.

This calf looks like have great formation of muscles. Someday he will become a well-muscled bull. You may get a necessary supplies that your calf may need.

How about a recent picture Gabby!

If you can't see the whole picture hold ctrl and the plus sign, he is 3 months as of the 21st of April

Looks like he is growing well and she is doing good also. Any time you get sick of him I can find him a home in Virginia. Been looking for an excuse for a road trip anyway.

3 months and that size, is the best thing in the world. He sure is growing, and like 3 way said, he's looking fancy too.
